We have our favorites- salad, frozen veggies, potatoes, rice. But that can get boring. It’s nice to switch up and find a new tasty dish that’s easy to throw together.
INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE MOROCCAN CARROTS:
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons honey
- ¾ teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 ½ pounds carrots-peeled, shredded and squeezed dry
- ¾ cup minced red onion
- ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- ½ cup raisins
HOW TO MAKE THESE MOROCCAN CARROTS:
- In large bowl, whisk first 5 ingredients; season.
- Toss with carrots, onion, cilantro and raisins; season.
