A breakfast that fuels you up and tastes like dessert? What more could you want?
I love the idea of a breakfast that I can whip in minutes. If I roast the peaches ahead of time, I can pop them out of the fridge, warm them up, top with granola, some Greek yogurt, and dig in! It’s a yummy breakfast option that fuels me all morning.
It also makes a delicious snack or fun baking treat… without being overly indulgent. The best way to eat fruit, no?
Crunchy, sweet, creamy….delightful. It’s your new favorite breakfast!
frequently asked questions
What are peaches good for (nutrition-wise)?
They are a low fat and low calorie food. They provide protein, fiber, and many other vitamins and minerals.
How do you make homemade granola?
Basic (but very good) granola requires just a handful of ingredients: oats, a sweetener, some oil, and maybe nuts or dried fruit. Once you master that basic formula, it’s even easier to mix up a granola made just the way you like it.
What is the difference between greek yogurt and regular?
Both types of yogurt start out with the same ingredients and fermentation. After fermentation, the liquid whey is strained off the solid yogurt. Regular yogurt is strained twice, so there is still some liquid left in the end product. Greek yogurt is strained three times, so most of the liquid is removed. This is what gives Greek yogurt its’ thicker consistency and stronger flavors compared to regular yogurt.
