hawaiian roll sliders
Thank goodness my picky eaters love ham, because it’s a great, budget-friendly, delicious option for all sorts of easy weeknight dishes. We love these Hawaiian sliders with a side salad for busy school nights, but they would be just as welcome at the table of your backyard BBQ.
First off, I love how easy it is to prep. Pick up an already cooked ham steak (found in meat section), so you just heat it up on the grill for a few minutes on each side to get those delicious grill marks. Then you can use it with classic BBQ sides or make tasty sandwiches.
For another easy dinner, try marinating the ham steak and baking it. Or adding some seasonal veggies for a filling & wholesome one-pan meal. YUM.

frequently asked questions
How do you serve Hawaiian roll sandwiches cold?
You can easily switch out deli ham that doesn’t need to be heated. Then, just put the aioli on with the ham and pineapple and serve cold!
What cheese is best with ham sandwiches?
I love serving ham with havarti, but you can use swiss, cheddar or muenster!
How do you keep sandwiches warm at a party?
Keep the sandwiches covered with foil even when they are sitting on the countertop. If you want to, you can cut the sandwiches, wrap them individually in foil and place them in a slow cooker on the warm setting. This will keep them perfectly warm!
