Pizza is already pretty perfect on its own, but kids really go crazy for bite sized anything! Enter pizza roll. I love making homemade versions of store bought snacks that my kids love. I haven’t found too many things that are not better homemade.
I can also get the kids to help out with this one, which helps me! They can mostly do the whole process up until the air frying, so I can get other things done. Plus, they get really excited making their own snacks and dinner! Contributing to the process usually results in more eating!

STEPS TO PREPARE AIR FRYER PIZZA ROLLS
- Unroll pizza dough onto cutting board. Slice (with pizza cutter) into 2 square halves.
- Sprinkle on Italian seasoning.
- Top with half of both cheeses.
- Add pepperoni.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Roll up each half of the pizza dough, so you end up with 2 long pizza dough logs. Use pizza cutter to slice up into rolls, about 1 ½″ wide (eyeball it).
- Preheat air fryer to 370 degrees.
- Remove basket from air fryer and add pizza rolls (6-8 at a time). If toppings are falling out of rolls, pinch the bottoms to seal up the dough for cooking.
- Cook for 4 minutes, then check pizza rolls. They should be golden brown on top and the dough cooked through the middle. If not, cook for another minute.
- Use spatula to remove pizza rolls from air fryer. Add rest of pizza rolls to cook.
- Allow last batch of rolls to cool for 5 minutes, then serve all with a side of pizza sauce for dipping.
TIPS:
- These are completely versatile and can be made with most pizza toppings.
- Can be rolled ahead and then air baked when you are ready. I would stick with same day.
