Ingredients for Chocolate Covered Swedish Fish

• 1- 3.6 oz packet, Swedish Fish
• 1 cup, chocolate chips
• 1 cup, white chocolate chips
• 12 OREO cookies
• variety of holiday sprinkles
• food-safe (edible ink) decorating pen, for ornaments

Recipe Tips!

• Be cautious when heating up the chocolate. If it gets too hot, it could change the texture of the chocolate. You can use a double-broiler, or if using the microwave, heat up in 30 second increments. It’s always better to heat it just a little bit and then stir, stir, stir to make it smooth.
• For a smooth coating of chocolate on the OREO Cookies, use a fork to lift out of the melted chocolate and allow it to drip the excess away for a few moments. You can also gently scrap the bottom of the OREO Cookie against the rim of the bowl to avoid getting “feet” on the bottom of the ornaments.
• Be sure to lay out the chocolate-dipped treats on wax paper for easy removal once the chocolate is set.
• You can use edible ink pens to decorate– or frosting or even a small paint brush and food coloring.

We love these fun, easy treats for a festive dessert or snack during the holiday season. It’s a no-bake recipe and the kids can help! Mine love to do the sprinkles. Have fun picking out different colors and textures to really make these treats pop!
