I’m such a kid at heart when it comes to sweets. I always have candy around, for a little pick-me-up throughout the day.
Or for bribes. You know how it is.

HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY FRUIT ROLL-UPS:
- Preheat oven to 170 degrees

It makes me feel better about snacking when the goodies are homemade. Doesn’t get much more wholesome than dried strawberries.
Blend it up, spread it out on a cookie sheet, and bake (dehydrate) in the oven.
So easy your kids can help you. Trust me, kids think it’s so cool to make store-bought snacks at home. It makes them feel like little mad scientists.
The look on their face when you pop the roll-ups out of the oven? Priceless.

LOVE this SO much!!! I thought I needed a dehydrator to make dried fruit at home. Really had no idea I could do it on a low oven. This is so creative!
Alison says
SO easy, Sarah! Try it!
Jen says
Is there a way to make this without the sugary drink?
Alison says
Sure! Although the strawberries might be a little sour with no sugar added. Just watch the oven, it will probably dry faster with less liquid in the mixture.
