Need a fresh lunchtime idea? I’ve got you covered. Here at our house, we love simple, quick meals ideas that get food to the table fast. Particularly during the summertime, I rely on easy meals that take very little prep work, and this is one is our go-to for lunch these days.
I love sandwiches for lunch, because you can really pack in the protein. It’s a a bonus that these also make a quick & yummy snack! Protein keeps the kids going all day, and helps keep the crankies at bay!
INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO MAKE A TURKEY TORTILLA WRAP:
- 8 sharp cheddar cheese slices*
- 4 slices, cooked bacon (can batch-cook ahead of time)**
- 8 slices, deli turkey
- 2 large tortillas
- Optional: honey mustard, ketchup, etc. for dipping
HOW TO MAKE A TURKEY TORTILLA WRAP:
- Lay out tortillas, and top with first three ingredients.
- Roll up and dip.
- Enjoy!
To make these roll-ups, lay out cheese slices, turkey slices, and bacon on top of a tortilla. (TIP: for even faster prep, bake/cook a batch of bacon ahead of time to use throughout the week)
We love these with a side of honey mustard dip or even ketchup. Kids love finger food, and these simply disappear at lunch. Also easy to double or triple the recipe for a play date or birthday party.

How do I make tortillas stick together?
You can get tortillas to stick together by putting the sauce you are using to the edge, but not the ingredients. Also, you can use a bit of water to brush on the edge and stick to the tortilla as you roll it.
