We love making these pretzel bites, drizzled in Torani Sauce. I think dark chocolate tastes amazing with the cinnamon sugar, but you could also use Torani Caramel Sauce or White Chocolate Sauce.
Ingredients for Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Bites:
for pretzel bites
- 1 can store-bought pizza dough
- ¼ cup baking soda
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 Tablespoons butter, melted
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
for topping & dipping
- ¼ cup chocolate sauce or syrup
Directions for Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Bites:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Roll out pizza dough on top of a cutting board.
- Cut dough into 2″ by 2″ squares, roll up into balls.
- Boil 2 quarts of water in a deep pot or pan, add baking soda, stir.
- Add dough balls and cook for 2 minutes, or until they puff up.
- Remove dough balls with a slotted spoon, and place on cookie sheet covered in parchment paper.
- Brush a good amount of the egg on top of each dough ball.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool.
- Whisk the cinnamon and sugar together in a small bowl.
- Dip each pretzel bite in the melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Finish off pretzel bites with a generous drizzle of chocolate sauce and serve the remaining sauce for dip.
