A super easy dinner my whole family loves. Grab some chicken strips and dip in this lovely Southwest Dip that will keep you coming back for more!
We are dippers in my family. We dip everything in anything! This comes in handy when I want to throw something super easy together for dinner, but want to make it seem like I put some effort into it.
That is where the dip comes in. I will make some frozen chicken tenders (easy), but then make a fancy sauce to make it seem like I worked hard. Plus, it really jazzes up a simple food so the adults can enjoy it as much as the kids! WIN WIN WIN!
INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS SOUTHWEST DIP:
- 1 cup full-fat sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoon McCormick taco seasoning
- ½ teaspoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
HOW TO MAKE SOUTHWEST DIP:
- Whisk together ingredients in a small bowl.
- Serve immediately.
You simply whisk these ingredients up and get to dipping! My family enjoys dipping chicken strips (found in the freezer section), but you can also use pretzels, tortilla chips, or fresh veggies. I’ve also served the chicken strips with a side salad or even coleslaw.
