Instructions For Salted Caramel Espresso Martini Recipe
- Prep martini glasses: drizzle with chocolate syrup on inside (see pictures).
- Fill a martini shaker with ice.
- Pour in Kahlua, vodka, espresso, half and half, and Torani Salted Caramel Syrup.
- Shake martini shaker for a few moments or until shaker gets a thin layer of ice on the outside.
- Remove cap of martini shaker (strainer remains on).
- Pour contents equally between the two martini glasses. Top with a few coffee beans and enjoy!
Substitutions
Salted Caramel Syrup: sub it out with regular caramel syrup and a pinch of salt
Espresso: you can also use regular (strongly brewed) coffee
Half and half: milk will also work in this recipe
Variations
Make this a traditional espresso martini by omitting the salted caramel syrup
Go all out on the presentation! Salted rim and chocolate “kiss” at the bottom of the glass. Yum!
Add a sprinkle of flavoring to adapt this drink to the current season. Peppermint oil for the holidays or coconut flavoring during the summer.
Equipment
This recipe works best with a traditional martini shaker. Metal shakers chill the beverage the fastest.
To easily add chocolate syrup rings to the inside of the martini glass, dip a milk frother into chocolate syrup and turn it on inside the glass. The syrup will make a beautiful circle design. (see photos)
Storage
You can pre-mix the ingredients (except ice) ahead of time and store them in a sealed container in the fridge for 2-3 days. When you’re ready to serve the drinks, pour into a martini shaker full of ice and shake away!
You might find it helpful to brew the espresso ahead of time, since it should be cooled before adding to the drink mix. You can also cool it down quickly by placing in the freezer for a few minutes.
Top Tips
Be sure to shake martini shaker until the metal is covered in icy condensation. That’s how you know the beverage inside is chilled to perfection.

FAQ- Kahlua Salted Caramel Espresso Martini
Freshly brewed espresso and thoroughly shaking the contents of the martini will result in a frothy top to your espresso martini.
Simply put, you can’t go wrong with cheese and chocolate. A cheese plate with a few pieces of dark chocolate tastes amazing with a chilled espresso martini.
