Ideas for Kid Snacks
No matter what mood the kids are in, I always need to have quick and easy snacks. The faster the better to not only fit into schedules but also before they change their minds…lol! The options listed are great because they are good for you, and are so easy to make.
INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE SNACKS FOR YOUR KIDDOS:
- 1 pouch veggie straws (or similar light snack)
- 2 apples
- 1 stalk of celery, chopped
- ¼ cup of (whipped, in the tub) cream cheese
- ½ packet ranch dressing mix
- 2 Tablespoons nut butternut butter
- ¼ cup granola
DIRECTIONS TO MAKE THESE DELICIOUS SNACKS:
Veggie Straws and Apples:
- Slice up apples into segments.
- Serve with veggie straws
Cream Cheese Celery
- Mix together cream cheese and dressing mix in a small bowl.
- Spread cream cheese on top of celery.
Granola Apples
- Slice apple horizontally (round slices) into about ¼″ thick slices.
- Spread nut butter on top of slices and sprinkle with granola.
Depending on the age of your kids, they may even be able to make all these snacks themselves. Honestly though, I eat all these snacks with the kids. They are so delicious.
