HOW TO MAKE MAC AND CHEESE WITH HOT DOGS?
This one is quite easy! Prepare mac and cheese, hot dogs and bacon, separately. Once they are ready, mix all ingredients together.
This yummy side dish goes well with any classic BBQ food, which is why it’s become a go-to for us! The kids love it, and it’s perfect for summer! To make this flavorful side dish, start by cooking up a double batch of classic mac & cheese.
In the meantime, cook up 4 hot dogs and a half a package of bacon.
Once everything is cooked, cut up the meat, add it to the macaroni & cheese, and mix together. Add ketchup, mustard, and relish. Stir until mixed together. And it’s ready to serve!
WHAT GOES WELL WITH MACARONI AND HOT DOGS?
My family usually has this with some great barbecue in the summer. It is great for the kids if they don’t like the other meat option you are preparing! You can also just grill some veggies and pair it with this dish for a well rounded, easy dinner!

Ah this is like my Western Supper recipe. The only difference is that a can of diced tomatoes is used instead of the ketchup. I tried it once with ketchup instead, but the kids asked me to go back to tomatoes (which they thought they didn’t like)! I service this as the main dish with baked beans on the side. It’s been a go-to dinner for over 35 years!

This recipe took me back to my childhood, where we frequently ate hot dogs and scrambled eggs for breakfast! Ah, good times!! Looking forward to introducing my family to this one – thanks!
